Oregander

Some pics from a Kaufman visit in late February. We drove a couple of hours to visit our friend Larry in Aguila, AZ. He was fixing up a house his dad had owned in an air park (entry gate shown above). All the houses had their own hangers. And a runway ran through the middle of the development.

We had dropped down a few thousand feet from Prescott and were in the Saguaro zone. They disappear once you get above 3,500 ft. or so. The top photo gives you an idea of the landscape after you drop out of the mountains.

Here we are in Aguila with Larry getting ready for a musical performance to entertain some neighbors. It went off well— no one was injured.

JK and I got into a small construction project as we are wont to do when left without adult supervision. This one actually came out tolerable—a new workbench. Only one trip to Home Depot required. And no one was injured…seriously.

A visit with John and Beth which includes some nice lateral distortion from the phone’s lens.

Yet more fun photo distortion effects. Doesn’t it look like you could almost go swimming?
