This is a great room. Well, that’s what they call it anyway. There’s some nice empty space for dancing. Or just enjoying the void.

The other end of the great room (with wide-angle lens). The sliding window doors on the end collapse to one panel, so you can invite the outside in. But not in the winter.

Da bar. I’m thinking I would have preferred the original pantry, but previous owner upgraded to a bar. Oh well. Bottoms up.

The guest room where you are welcome to stay and enjoy all the amenities of Prescott. And cactus. A bed will appear soon.

The rug in the fireplace area was selected by Beth (friend and design consultant). I’m considering adding a couch…for afternoon naps.

Navajo weaving also discovered by Beth. (Beth and John Harrington have lived here for nearly 15 years and have a great affinity for Prescott and the Southwest culture.)

The place for cooking and the accumulation of random and extraneous items on the counter tops.

You can even do your laundry in this fine laundry room. Or mine, if you prefer… : )
Looks awesome John!
Love your new place.
Would you please add Betty to your blog email list. Thanks.
Great house. Jerry
It looks like a very nice place John…..What’s the square footage? And some outdoor photos of yard would be nice too……or views from your windows, front porch or rear deck?
Yes! Those chairs and the fireplace. Looks like John’s place!
John,
Glad you are finally in Prescott and getting settled. Your Blog is a fine idea to keep us all posted. Enjoyed the photos and comments. Can’t believe you’re getting up pre-dawn to hike and see the sunrise. I pretty sure your morning lows are sub-freezing. But may as well get yourself toughened up for Arizona life. I’ve been here for almost 40 years and apparently not quite tough enough…I don’t get up until the sun gets up. Talk soon and I’ll keep checking your Blog.
Dave
